He is survived by: his children, James R. Odom, Malinda Odom Bell of Double Springs and Nina Godsey; his grandchildren, Tina Baker of Ashridge, Justin Bell (Crystal) of Jasper, Christopher Godsey (Kayla) of Ashridge, Todd Odom (Crystal) of Lynn, Matthew Bell (Brooke) of Jasper, James Bell (Shawna) of Cullman, Kelsei Martin (Mark) of Oxford, Nic Blancas (Kali) of Lynn, Jasper Odom of Jasper, Ray and Dean Smith of Double Springs; his sister Alta Smith (Lewis) of Thatch; and his sister-in-law Lowanda Hill of Double Springs. He is also survived by 18 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
