It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard M. Self of Double Springs, Alabama, who passed away on February 6, 2022, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Self and Barbara Jean Self; and his siblings, Vickie Lynn Edwards and Scott Keymon. He is survived by: his wife Terri Goodwin Self; his daughter Holly McDaniel (Mike); his grandchildren, Lindsey VanWinsen and Timothy "T. J."; his great grandchildren, Landon VanWinsen, Willow Armuor, Jameson Schell, Owen VanWinsen, Adelynn Armour and Brayden VanWinsen; and his brothers, Randy Self, Mike Self and David Keymon.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made in Rick's honor to the Children's Hospital or the Shriner's Hospital.
