She was predeceased by : her father James Stewart; and her siblings, James Stewart, Rodney Stewart, Rita Kelly and Tracey Stewart.

She is survived by : her mother Temple Martin (John); her husband Melvin Teachworth; her children, Gladys Hyche (Brandon) and Chistopher Teachworth; her stepchildren, Brandi Murphy and Melvin Teachworth III; her grandchildren, Kaylee Hyche, Logan Hyche, Emmery Hyche, Joshua Kilgore, Ashleigh Teachworth, Rylee Guerra, Shaylynn Muir, Peyton Presley and Cayden Mann; and her sister Sharon Raines.

Visitation was held on Sunday, June 9th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Nichols Funeral Home (25714 AL-195, Double Springs, AL 35553). A memorial service was held on Sunday, June 9th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
