He was predeceased by: the mother of his children Foye Mae Waid; his daughter Wenona Robinson; his parents, Fount Waid and Virgie Waid; and his siblings, Ardus Waid, Ben Waid, Dudley Waid and Alene Woodley.
He is survived by: his brothers, David Hood and Bill Frank Wilson; his wife Jean; his children, Eric Waid, Cameron Waid (Renee), Wanda Wilkins (James) and Forrest Waid (Melissa); his stepchildren, Jeannine Phillips (Tommy), Landon Dreher (Wanda) and Randall Dreher (Tia); his grandchildren, Shannon Clark, Jason Waid, Griff Waid, Tyler Waid, Jenny Elliot, Justin Robinson, Wade Vincent, Brent Vincent, Jordan Wilkins, Wesley Wilkins, Marissa Hood, Logan Waid and Caleb Key; and his stepgrandchildren, Leah Bagwell, Brittany Legvold, Erica Nunn, Zach Dreher and Brody Dreher. He is also survived by many great grandchildren, step great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
