It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Joan Underwood (Double Springs, Alabama), who passed away on February 9, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Nicklaus and Grace Nicklaus; her husband Adis Underwood; and her sister Lorene Goddard. She is survived by: her niece Regina Holland (Kevin); her great-nieces, Kim Sargent and Kristi Bonds (Casey); her great-nephew Richard Sargent; and her nieces, Shirley Sargent and Debbie Duncan. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
