She was predeceased by: her mother Vera Moody; her husband Terry L. Sutherland; her parent Calvest "Bill" Moody; and her siblings, Gene Knight, Jeneice Beasley, Louise Brooks and Bernice Odom.
She is survived by: her children, Tommy L. Sutherland, Michael L. Sutherland (Mary Ellen) and Dana S. Wyma (Kevin); her grandchildren, Jacob Lovett (Tori), Bri Lancaster (Kourtni), Nic Bryan, Ben M. Sutherland and Maddie Sutherland; her great grandchildren, Ella Lovett, Payson Lovett, Kellin Lovett and Jagger Lovett; and her siblings, Murphy Moody (Shirley) and Mellonie Maze (Terry). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mt. Olive Baptist Church. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
