She is survived by: her sons, Phillip Melton (Paula), Jason Melton and Kevin Melton (Sherrie); her grandchildren, Harley James Melton, Kara Elizabeth, Kourtney Nicole, Colton Ross, Caden Lewis, Katelyn Roberson and Payton Gathings; her great grandchildren, Jaxon Trotter and Norah Ricks; her siblings, David Benton and Ruth Benton; and her daughter-in-law Debra Melton. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Nichols Funeral Home - Haleyville (1607 11th Ave, Haleyville, AL 35565). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
