He was predeceased by: his parents, George Sutton and Dovie Lee Sutton; and his siblings, Ellen Johnson, Helen Grissom and James Sutton.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jennifer Steinbrecher (Chuck) and Johnna Benefield (Lee); his stepchildren, Amanda Handley, Jeremy Herron and Patrick Herron; and his sister Christeen Adams. He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
