It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elrose Thompson of Double Springs, Alabama, who passed away on December 21, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Pearson and Ada Pearson; her husband James A. Thompson; and her son Marlon Ray Thompson. She is survived by: her children, James D. Thompson and Rose Ann Davis; her grandchildren, Jillian LaFaye Krause (Steve), Joshua Thompson (Tara) and Chad Thompson; her great grandchildren, Walt Krause, Maggie Krause, Brody Thompson, Emma Thompson and Konan Thompson; and her sisters, Brenda Coburn and Imogene Croft.
