She was predeceased by: her husband Edwardo Garcia; her son Robert Garcia; her grandsons, Timothy Kennedy and Zalmon "Peanut" Garrison; her parents, Tommie Cooper and Thelma Cooper; and her siblings, William H. Cooper, Charles T. Benton, John H. Benton and Tommie Mae Garrison.
She is survived by: her children, Ralph Garcia (Judy), Sarah Joyce Garrison (Lesslie) and Rebecca Wilson (Jimmy); and her sister Sue Jones (Stephen).
