He was predeceased by: his wife Sally Moody; his parents, Henry Melvin and Allie Mae Jones Moody; and his siblings, Guy Moody, George Moody, Rothel Moody, Thelton Moody, Flaye Watson, Annette Ham and Tiny Moody.
He is survived by: his children, Dwain "Scooty" Moody, Jr and Leashia Moody-Miller (Rem); his siblings, Hollow Hugh Moody and Dean Moody-Morris (Lamar); and his grandchild Robin Miller. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
