He was predeceased by: his parents, F. M. Wilson and Opal Tidwell Wilson; his son Jeffrey Paul Wilson; and his sister Doris Joan Cockrell. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Wilson; his children, David Philip Wilson (Cyndi) and Kelly Wilson Mize (Wade); his sister Dorothy Gilbreath; and his grandchildren, Timothy Wilson (Karlie), Grant Mize, Elaine Wilson Canfield (Zac) and Claire Mize Herring (Brannon). He is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
