He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Parris and Stella Ellen Parris; his wife Nina Shipes Parris; his son Danny Parris; and his son-in-law Michael Watford.
He is survived by: his children, Mike Parris (Delane) of Birmingham, John Robert "Bob" Parris and Linda Hayes (Charlie) of Columbia; and his daughter-in-law Pam Parris. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Sunday, March 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Memory Hill Cemetery.
