He was predeceased by: his wife Blondell Deatherage; his son Kenneth Deatherage; and his children-in-law, Brenda Deatherage and Harold Harrison. He is survived by: his father Virgil; his children, Anna Harrison, Kathy Jones and Virgil Deatherage, Jr.; and his daughter-in-law Sondra Varnum. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and six great-great- grandchildren.
