He was predeceased by: his wife Karen Hickling Turney; his son Shane K. Turney; his parents, Howard N. Turney and Pearl J. Browne; his stepfather Clayton Browne; and his brother George Turney.
He is survived by: his daughters, Shannon Turney of Panama City and Kendra Gregg (Chris) of Midland City; his grandchildren, Skylar Crowley of Midland City, Bailey Crowley of Midland City, Evan McWhorter of Midland City and Chayne Gregg of Midland City; his siblings, Alyce Vining (Doug) and Terry Turney (Pat); his sister-in-law Patricia Burnside; and also Houston.
