She was predeceased by: her parents, Bud Battles and Parlee Battles; her husband Jack Howell; and her daughter Malinda McCallister Brown. She is survived by: her grandsons, Jay McCallister (Carlotta) and Jeff McCallister (Lisa); her great grandchildren, Justin McCallister and Jayse McCallister; her caregiver Mary Anne Zuber; and her brother-in-law James Howell (Shirley).
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Memphis Baptist Church Cemetery.
