She is survived by: her husband Bobby Crawford; her parents, William Melvin and Lillie Melvin; her grandmother Cora Vaughn; her siblings, Sheila Beaty (Joseph), Latondra Okeke (Ben), Erika Turner (Herbert), Meredith Timpson (Willie), Tracy Keenan (Lawrence), Roderick Melvin, Anthony Melvin, Vincent Melvin and Kaziuo Melvin; her nephew Justice Melvin; and her close friend Charetta Edwards. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
