She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Chavis and Betty Chavis; her sisters, Stephanie Jones and Linda Guillory; and her niece Sheena Victorian.
She is survived by: her husband Sylvester Russell; her children, Sharon Thomas (Clinton), Dieatra Howie (Kavan), Tiffany Gulledge, Yolanda Russell (Edward Dillard), Neena Bonds, Sylvester Bone and Christopher Russell; her sisters, Cynthia Victorian, Kelly Semien (Gerald), Debra Wright (Robert), Patricia Coker and Angela Chavis; and her grandchild Charleigh. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, church families, and friends.
