It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Raymond Farmer Jr. (Dothan, Alabama), who passed away on September 29, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Sr. Farmer and Minnie Bell Farmer; his daughter Floretha Bryant; and his sisters, Minnie Faye White, Mable Frazier and Helen Ford.

He is survived by: his son Rev. Eddie Farmer Sr. (Eltherlean); his grandchildren, Cornelious Farmer (Shenesi), Tra'Jazman Farmer Sr., Rachel Bolden (Laquan), Eddie Farmer Jr. (Gabrielle) and Erika Farmer; his great grandchildren, Tra'Jazman Farmer Jr., Jazmine Farmer, Liam Farmer, Mila Farmer and Ella Farmer; and his siblings, Robbie F. Dawsey, Jessie Farmer, Mary F. Pickett and Faye F. James (Jerome). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
