She was predeceased by: her parents, Sybil Brunson and Graymon Brunson of Enterprise; her sisters, Diana Haire and Sandra Manning; her brother-in-law Searcy Manning; her grandson Ethan Byrd; and her nephew Adam Manning.
She is survived by: her husband Lloyd Byrd; her children, Bran Byrd (Kristie), Ashley Schaule, Caitlin Byrd and Jessi Lauren Byrd; her grandchildren, Logan Spann, Addysan Schaule, AnaLea Byrd and Aiden Byrd; her great grandchild Layla Spann; her sister Carole Rainwater (Ken); and her sisters-in-law, Tanya Stephens and J. Yveta Phillips. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Ward Wilson Funeral Chapel (2414 Hartford Hwy, Dothan, AL 36305). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Ward-Wilson Funeral Home (2414 Hartford Hwy, Dothan, AL 36305).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (https://give.bcrf.org) to honor Ramona's journey and to support others in the fight against cancer.
