We are sad to announce that on October 20, 2018, at the age of 83, Melvylen Head (Dothan, Alabama), born in Cottonwood, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John Head; her parents, Clarence McCord and Julia McCord; and her siblings, Gladys Messer and Loyd McCord.
She is survived by: her daughter Sherry Deegan (Ray) of Leesburg, VA; her granddaughters, Michele Deegan Giovaninni, Germany Deegan (Kyle) and Shannon Deegan of Tysons Corner, VA; her great grandchild Aelyn Giovaninni; and her sisters, Jeanette Thorne (Roland) of Dothan, Bobbie Womble of Orlando, FL, Dannie Sue Colley (Ronald) of Spring, TX and Kaye Moreno (Rey) of Fort Worth, TX. She is also survived by 15 nieces and nephews; and numerous grand-nieces and nephews.
