It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Thomas (Dothan, Alabama), who passed away on March 3, 2018, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her brother James Arthur Hughes; her son James Frederick Thomas; and her sisters, Dixie Hughes Davis and Betty Sue Hasty. She is survived by: her children, Newell Franklin Thomas, Jr (Coleen) of New Bern, NC, Debra Godwin (Bill) of New Bern, NC and Vickie Ross (Mike) of Ft; and her grandchildren, Matthew Ross (Amber), Christopher Lee (Libby), Andrew Lee, Jacob Ross, Rebekah Ross, Derrick Thomas (Amber), Maisie Thomas and Ivie Thomas.
