She was predeceased by: her parents, Ervin Hawthorne and Ruby N. Hawthorne; her husband William Johnson; her siblings, Bobby Hawthorne, Rebecca Strickland and Shannon Hawthorne; and her grandson Andrew Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Ann Tew (Bobby) and Edward Johnson (Susan); and her grandchildren, Monty Bond (Jennifer), Shelby Johnson, Dillion Johnson, Dustin Money, Haley Money (Justin) and Ben Bond.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Ward Wilson Funeral Home (2414 Hartford Hwy, Dothan, AL 36305). A graveside service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Memory Hill Cemetery (2414 Hartford Hwy, Dothan, AL 36305).
