We are sad to announce that on March 16, 2018, at the age of 81, Mary Champion (Dothan, Alabama), born in Waycross, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her siblings, Emily Riggs and Charles Handley, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Van Champion, Sr.; her children, Celeste Champion of Montgomery, AL, Van Champion, Jr. (Betsy), Bob Champion (Teresa) and Chris Champion (Jana); her grandchildren, Handley Mikec (Brad), Caroline Smith (Payson), Emily, Davis, Daniel, Grace, Devan and Carlan Champion; her brother Stephen Handley (Patti Dinsmore); and also Dothan.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to; Gideons International, PO Box 97251, Washington, DC 20090-7251.
