She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. W. E. Habbard and Carrie Habbard; her daughter Hazel Dozier; her siblings, Curtis Habbard, Rev. Myrtle Littlefield, Myrtice Miller and Vertice Skipper; and her son-in-law John Sims.
She is survived by: her husband Joseph Davis; her daughters, Helen Sims and Karen Bullard; her siblings, Ruth Jones, Rev. Alice Burdeshaw (Milton), Wilmer Habbard (Sara), Art Habbard (Gerri), Otis Habbard and Rev. Addis Habbard; and her grandchildren, Tammy Whitehurst, Terri Lynn Baxley (Eric), Jeffrey Sims, Britt Sims (Amber), Tim Dozier (Cammie), Tony Dozier (Nicki), Pat Dozier (Shelina), Dr. Chad Mann (Haley), Caleb Mann (Jeanie) and Cara Powell (Adam Powell).
Marie's contribution to her community did not stop there; she also volunteered tirelessly at the Medical Center.
