With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Margrette Brackin Joiner of Dothan, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 15, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walton Cornelius Brackin and Wistee Kirkland Brackin; her husband Arthur Durwood Joiner; her children, Jackie Harrison, David Wayne Joiner and Margrette Emily Joiner; her grandchildren, Suzanne Huff, Amanda Wells and David Lee Joiner; and her sister Imojean Brackin.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jane Huff (Dennis) and Emily Morris (Buddy) of Pulaski, TN; and her grandchildren, Jennifer White (Harold), Laura Deal (Joey), Robyn Wilkes (Chuck), Tonia Jernigan (Jeff), Cody Joiner, Jakob Joiner, Stacie Gleason, Brett Gleason (Angie) and Robert Joiner.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Holman-Headland Mortuary Chapel (305 Main St, Headland, AL 36345). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Gardens Of Memory (6200 US-431, Headland, AL 36345).
