It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lynda Paul Blount (Dothan, Alabama), born in Columbus, Georgia, who passed away on April 9, 2018, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Gilchrist and Helen Gilchrist; and her brothers, Gene Paul and Curtis Paul. She is survived by: her husband James Blount; her children, Jimmy Deal (Carol), Jay Blount, Cricket Lee (Dennis), Stephanie Blount and Daphne Currie (Lee); her grandchildren, Sunny Spires (Ron), Jon Daw (Lady), Eddie Deal (Aimee), Mark Deal, Jenna Sanchez (Cristian), Fuller Currie and Mallory Currie; her great grandchildren, Zach Spires, Jessi Spires, Tristn Bailey, Hunter Daw, Zaven Spires, Aarolyn Jones, Jon Lee Daw, Bodhi Sanchez, Lillian Deal, Gabriel Daw and Victoria Deal; her sister Renee Neikirk (Jeff); and her aunt Nadine Blanton. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
