She was predeceased by: her parents, A. J. Smith (Omie Mae Hughes Smith) and Lois; and her siblings, Foy Lee Smith, Reuben Smith (A. J.), James Earl Smith and Billy Ray Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Steve Monday (Julie) and Donna Tate (Robert); her grandchildren, Weston Monday, Railey Miller (Eli), Wyatt Monday, Robin Smith (Zach), Rhett Tate, Walker Monday and Wagner Monday; her great grandchild Maverick Kash Miller; her siblings, Annette Webb, Eugene Smith, Gloria Lampert, Geraldine Faust and Debra Kay Trawick; and her sisters-in-law, Martha Smith, Linda Ammons and Sherry Agrella Harrison. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Ward Wilson Funeral Home (2414 Hartford Hwy, Dothan, AL 36305). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
