We are sad to announce that on April 19, 2018, at the age of 65, Larry Eugene Draughon (Dothan, Alabama) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Ralph Draughon. He is survived by: his wife Kim Draughon; his mother Myrtle Draughon; his siblings, Ronnie Gerry (Cathy), Timmy Draughon (Lisa), Tina Clay (Steve) and Wanda Parker (Sparky); and his nieces and nephews, Jennifer Kyser (Justin), Jess Beck (Jessie), Stephanie Druckenmiller (James), Jenina, Jordan, Hayes, Taylor Kyser, Crosby Druckenmiller and Reid Druckenmiller.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Wiregrass Humane Society, PO Box 1045, Dothan, AL 36302 or to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

“This message is from retired officer Daniel Medwick of the Dothan Police Department. I have just learned of the Death of Cpt. Larry Draughon and I am very sorrowed! He was my boss and a great friend who had faith in me as a officer of the Dothan Police Dept! I will always remember him and I am very sorry to his wife and family for your loss! He was my best friend along with Officer Bobby Ashley also of the Dothan Police! I miss them both. But I know where they are now, I hope to see them soon!”
