She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Howard and Helen Gibson Howard; her husband Hugh Byrd; and her sister Phyllis Smith. She is survived by: her children, Brent Snell (Sherry), Monica Capps (Dwain), Tracy Kite, Lisa Barrett and Amy Byrd. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; and fifteen great grandchildren; a special aunt that she dearly loved, Shirley Howell (James), along with many cousins, nieces, and numerous friends.
