He was predeceased by: his parents, William Dewitt Thompson and Betty Jean Thompson. He is survived by: his children, Phillip Thompson (Maegan) and Ashleigh Funk (Shaun); and his grandchildren, Marshall Thompson, Clementine Thompson, Luke Hay and Mason Funk.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home and Crematory (1700 Barrington Rd, Midland City, AL 36350). A celebration of life was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
