He was predeceased by: his parents, Arlene Turner and Herbert L. Turner; his sons, Johnnie Davis Turner Jr., Charlie Louis Turner and Danny Turner; and his siblings, Carylon Quarels and Dorothy Lee Williams.
He is survived by: his wife Willie Bell "Sally Bee" Turner; his children, Glory Faye Turner, Sabrina Brown, Archie Turner, Roy Turner, Albert Turner (Kathy), George Turner (Ann), Harry Turner and Tyris Turner; and his granddaughter Shenique Turner. He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
