Jo Ann Hall Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jo Ann Hall of Dothan, Alabama, born in Huntington, West Virginia, who passed away on January 12, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid Jo Ann farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Jo Ann is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

She is survived by: her husband Dr. Jerry Hall; her children, Pamela Bishop (Darrell) of Slocomb, AL and Jerry D. Hall, Jr. (Leigh) of Hartwell, GA; her grandchildren, Jamey Etheridge (Justin), Sydney Dodson (Kyle), Jerry D. Hall, III (Gabi) of Hartwell, GA, Gabrielle Irwin (Cody) of Enterprise, AL and Hannah Loftin (Sam) of Slocomb, AL.; and her siblings, Audrey Williams of Milton, WV, Brenda Chaney of Chesapeake, OH, Walter Williams and David Williams of Altizer, WV.. She is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Funeral Home and Crematory (1700 Barrington Rd, Midland City, AL 36350). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
