She was predeceased by: her parents, Dennis Paulk and Savannah Paulk (Elvin Barnes); her son Dennis Barnes; her grandchild Rhonda Kay Yon; and her siblings, Alice Clark, Earlene Purvis, Frances Strickland, James Jr, Dennis Paulk, Jr. and Billy Ray Paulk.
She is survived by: her daughters, Wanda Blackwell (John), Phyllis Tolbert (Michael), Christine Cowarts (David), Dianne Barnes and Tammy Whaley (Todd). She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
