With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jelan Salter (Dothan, Alabama), who passed away on February 27, 2019 at the age of 26. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Trimma Lee Butler (James) of Dothan and Andrew Lewis Salter of Newville. He is survived by: his daughters, Macey Greye Salter (Brittany Batechlor) of Headland and Blair Elizabeth Kelley Salter of Dothan, Alabama; his parents, Macie Salter of Napier Field, Alabama and Andrew L. Salter, Jr. of Headland, Alabama; his sister Britney Butler; his grandmother Corinne Salter of Headland, Alabama; his nephews, Ethan Burkett and Elijah Butler; his aunts and uncles, Joyce Ann Dawsey of Dothan, Sharon Harris (Maurice) of Cowarts, Jessie Williams (Sam) of Dothan, Mary Wiggins (Rick) of Abbeville, Clara Salter (Travis) of Webb, Betty Thomas (Johnnie) of Kinsey, Fredia Salter of Ozark, Alabama, Larry Butler of Dothan, James Butler of Saginaw, Charles Butler of Dothan and Joseph Butler (Jackie) of Dothan, Alabama; his cousins, Jessica Lamar, Jermi Rabb of Dothan and Chavis Reeves of Webb, Alabama; and his close friends, Greg Underwood and Jeremy Jackson. He is also survived by cousins, and other relatives and friends.
