He was predeceased by: his parents, John Arthur and Myrtle Seale Moorer; and his sister Deborah Moorer Beasley. He is survived by: his wife Sarah Still Moorer; his daughter Robin Moorer Stephens (John); his granddaughter Paige Dean; his great grandchild Caden Dean; his brother Doug Moorer (Martha); and his siblings-in-law, Jim Beasley and Martha Still. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
