He is survived by: his wife Debbie Norris; his sister Pam Hartman Scanlan (Rusty); his sister-in-law Dawn Clark; his mother-in-law Catherine Carmichael; and his cousin Beth Peters (Steve). He is also survived by several nieces, and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home and Crematory (1700 Barrington Rd, Midland City, AL 36350). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
