He is survived by: his wife Joyce Holmes Tyson of Dothan, AL; his sons, Chadwick James Tyson (Mary Alice) of Dothan, AL and Troy Marion Tyson (Michele) of Dothan, AL; his grandchildren, Lauren Tyson Downey (Spencer), Emma Brooke Tyson, Ethan Jeremy Tyson and Owen Marion Tyson; and his sister Jeanelle Wright of Columbus, GA..
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Calendar Calvary Baptist Church (901 Montezuma Ave, Dothan, AL 36303). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 4:15 PM to 5:15 PM.
