He was predeceased by: his parents, James O. Smith and Ruth Hinson Smith; and his brother Daniel Smith. He is survived by: his wife Nancy T. Smith; his son Christopher Smith (Dana); his granddaughter Julie Marie Smith; his great grandchild Gianna Smith; his nephew Troy Smith (Amanda); and his caregiver Melissa Arguello. He is also survived by his family, friends.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Funeral Home and Crematory (1700 Barrington Rd, Midland City, AL 36350).
