He is survived by: his wife Betty Battle; his sons, Jackie Battle (Judy) and Donald Battle (Kay); his grandchildren, Courtney Maertens (Jason), Alyssa Henderson (Jacob), Scotty Hanners, Alicia Porter (William Edward), Brandon Hanners (Meaghan Baird) and Madison Hanners; and his great grandchildren, Bryant Battle, Kadon Shiver, Tristan Maertens, Asher Maertens, Jase Maertens, Waylon Henderson and Conner Baird. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
