She was predeceased by: her mother Hettie Ree; her children, Georgia Ree Barrett (Bracey), Emma Grant (Jacob), Frank Carter (Lorene), Lilly Pearl Harris (Samuel) and Lula Mae George; and her siblings, Minnie Mae Crawford McSwain, Pinkie Bell Crawford Newsome, Lula Crawford Grimsley, Mary Lee Crawford Davis, Dora Crawford Lynn, Mary Thomas Weems, Ella Mae Castor Hill, Ozie Lee Crawford Palmer, Johnny Lee Crawford, Walter Crawford, Samuel Crawford and William Charles Crawford.
She is survived by: her sister Jessie Lee Hawkins; and her children, Annie Lois Brooks, Bobby Carter and John Henry Carter (Shelia). She is also survived by Mother had thirty-five grandchildren, generations of great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, a church family and friends.
