He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Herring and Dutchie Lee Herring; and his wife Jeanette Shelley Herring. He is survived by: his son Don Herring (Karen) of Troy, AL; his grandsons, Mitch Herring (Leigh Ellen) of Homewood, AL, Zack Herring (Tori) of Nashville, TN, Garrett Herring of Nashville, TN and Ross Herring of Nashville, TN; and his great grandchildren, Livy, Margaret and Eloise Herring of Homewood, AL..
