He was predeceased by: his son William Fletcher Medley (Esther Lee Parrish Medley); his wife Ann Sammons Medley; and his brother Donald Gilmer Medley. He is survived by: his children, Gina Medley (Debbie), Barbara Medley Whiddon (Stanley), Mike Medley (Lanora) and Don Medley (John); his sister Carolyn Medley Matthias (Roy) of Bonifay, FL; his sister-in-law Carolyn Medley of Bonifay, FL; his grandchildren, Margaret Ann Medley (Andi), James-Michael Sammons Medley (Jess), Christopher Guy Medley, Fletcher Whiddon, Wyatt Whiddon (Katie), Vinny Somma (Amaris), Amber Somma, Edde Somma (Audree) and Sylvia Somma; and his great grandchildren, Laken Whiddon, Ayvinn Somma and Brynn Somma.
