It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Bennett in Dothan, Alabama, who passed away on August 13, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Gary departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Gary may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Gary leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Bennett and Mildred Bennett; and his brother Gordon Bennett. He is survived by: his daughters, Abby Wilson (Allan) and Alyson Newsome (Jay); and his grandchildren, Sutton Wilson, Sawyer Wilson, Emma Newsome and Owen Newsome. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbors.
