We are sad to announce that on October 23, 2018, at the age of 86, Ernest Edward Onley (Dothan, Alabama), born in South Norfolk, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Edward Onley, Sr. and Hazel White Onley; his former wife June Fay Baker; and his brother Raymond Onley. He is survived by: his spouse Elaine Jones Herrin of Dothan; his children, Ed Onley III (Donna), Kenneth Onley (Sharon) of Edmund, OK, Steve Onley of Dothan, Elaine Randolph of Jacksonville, FL, Edith Koreckis (Mike) and Karen Hudson (LaRon); his siblings, Jack Onley of Myrtle Beach, SC and Darlene Creech of Chesapeake; his stepsons, Jon Herrin (Jeanne), Jeph Herrin (Chi) and Timothy Herrin (Sarah); and his sisters-in-law, Eleanor Jones Bath and Carol Ann Jones. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and 9 step-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Dothan First Baptist Church Missions Fund.
