He was predeceased by: his parents, Tank Early and Mary Lois Jenkins Early of Samson; his wife Johnnie Faye Hornsby Early; and his siblings, Jerry Jenkins Early, Gloria Ann "Tinkie" Early Johnson and Peggy Early Johnson.
He is survived by: his sons, Ellis Steven Early (Barbara) of Athens, AL and John Mitchell Early (Kathi) of Dothan, AL; his grandchildren, Scott Early of Geneva, AL, Amanda Brooke Early Harvey (John) of Mobile, AL, Blake Edwin Early of Dothan, AL and Morgan Early of Birmingham, AL; and his great grandchildren, James Robert Harvey of Mobile, AL and Amanda Claire Harvey of Mobile, AL. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family.
