Elizabeth Wilson Oppert Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Elizabeth Wilson Oppert of Dothan, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 24, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John T. Trawick and Elizabeth Lee Andress Trawick; and her son Charles Carlos Oppert Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Charles Carlos Oppert Sr. of Dothan; her children, Betty Cannon (Terry) of Montgomery, AL and John Wilson Oppert (Jessica) of Taylor, AL; her grandchildren, Ezekiel John of Taylor, AL, Isaiah David Oppert of Taylor, AL, Anissa Rudd (Ben) of Wetumpka, AL and Allen Cannon (Kassie) of Tallassee, AL; her great grandchildren, Ella Grace Wooten of Glenwood Springs, CO and John Franklin Cannon of Tallassee, AL; and her sister Anne Vallette (Lewis) of Montgomery, TX. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Harvest Church (2727 Fortner St, Dothan, AL 36305). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
