He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Simon and Ruby Lee Simon (Jinright); his daughter Lorenda Lynn Walker-Smith; and his sister Mary Alice Stokes. He is survived by: his wife Linda Simon of Dothan; his children, Michael Simon (Stephanie) of Taylor, Laura Lee Reagan (Johnny) of Ozark and Emily Peluso (Mike) of Dothan; his grandchildren, Amanda Braswell (Brandon), Tiffany Paige Whittington, Jamie Uhler, Izzy Peluso, Maggie Peluso, Desiree Walker and Misty Webb (Logan); his great grandchildren, Gage Workman, Bailee Braswell, Maddie Uhler, Macie Uhler, Ryken Walker, Jewell Walker, Bella Walker, Ryan Webb and Caitlyn Webb; and his brother Johnny Simon (Martha) of Newton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
