He was predeceased by: his parents, William Pryor and Faye Kirkland Barber; his wife Diana H. Barber; and his siblings, Billy Barber and Rosalyn Hayes.
He is survived by: his children, Bruce Barber, Jr. (Jada) of Prospect, TN, Stephanie Agnew of Dothan, AL, Natalie Golden (Dean) of St. James, MO and Rhonda Woodham of Dothan, AL; and his sisters, Beverly Coleman of Dothan, AL and Kathy Williams of Colquitt, GA. He is also survived by five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
