It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Lee Dye Bowers of Dothan, Alabama, born in Pelham, Georgia, who passed away on January 12, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Shirley Everett Tomlinson and Rosalie Mercer Tomlinson; her husband Obie L. Bowers; and her children, Linda Burnett and Bill Dye.
She is survived by: her daughters, Carol Long (Pilcher) and Lynn Dye Wall; and her grandchildren, Brooke Skinner, Christy Mitchell (John), Kim Sitzmann (Dennis), Patrick Dye (Dawn), Shannon Dye Middlebrook, Damon Johnson (Holly) and John David Johnson. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in memory of Dorothy Bowers to Enhabit Hospice of Dothan, Alabama.
